Brief Consultation – Free

15 Minutes by phone or online video conference

A brief consultation is to help me understand your concerns and reasons for counseling and so you can learn more about my online therapy services. If we both feel it’s a good fit for working together, we can then move forward.

Initial Assessment – $200

60 Minutes by online video conference

At the initial assessment we discuss more fully the problems and concerns which lead you to seek out counseling, your personal history, current symptoms, and goals for therapy.  An initial treatment plan will be developed collaboratively between you and I.

Individual Therapy Sessions – $160

60 Minutes by online video conference or 45 minutes Walk-and-Talk Therapy session at a nearby park in Maple Valley (weekly or bi-weekly)

I provide a safe and therapeutic space to assist you in your process towards healing and self-improvement. Talk therapy will involve discussing your concerns and life experiences and I will ask questions and share my observations with you. We will discuss your strengths and work on building upon these to address areas of concern. Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes and usually occur at a regularly scheduled time once or every other week.

Payment

Payment is due at time of service. I accept all major credit and debit cards (This also includes FSA and HSA cards). A credit card is required to be kept on file for payment of sessions.

Insurance

I am an In-Network Provider with Regence Blue Shield of Washington, Premera Blue Cross of Washington (also known as BCBS out of state), and First Choice Health. Many plans with these insurance companies cover the cost of telehealth, but benefits are based upon the member’s specific plan. Telehealth coverage for mental health services will need to be verified with your insurance company before beginning therapy and I am happy to assist you.

If I am an Out-of-Network Provider (all other insurances), after you have paid for your session, I can submit a bill on your behalf to the insurance company for potential reimbursement to you. Again, telehealth coverage for Out-of-Network will need to be confirmed with your insurance company before we begin working together and it will be your responsibility to determine how much they will reimburse you.

Please note: All insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis in your chart in order for behavioral health services to be paid for by the insurance company.
